I am please to announce the EBT Mikados in 1:20.3 scale. Quiet and smooth operational qualities are the hallmark of these models. The quality construction represents the timeless skills of the old masters of model building from Japan along with the Prototype builders from Baldwin Locomotive Works from the turn of the 20th century. Planned with the assistance of the great late Bobbie Hall and inspired by the railroad of my youth - The East Broad Top Railroad.

Update: April 4th, 2008
The first production piece of the EBT Engines was delivered last week. With the exception of color of boiler and tender, I was very pleased with it's quiet running and overall craftsmanship. A few minor items need to be "tweaked" but overall the model of #14 is quite nice.Yes they will be delivered very dark in color. From the underside it's equally as nice with a proper see through frame and brake rigging. A speaker is already mounted under the cab with sound cam on axle ready if you care to add sound. The tender was built with a battery pack in mind for RC running. Reserved models will be delivered in July. Reservations are open until the end of April. Few extra units will be built.

Update: January 31st, 2008
The 35 and 40 ton cars are in stock. Car orders will be filled in the sequence they were ordered. Please contact me via email or phone if you have any questions. Mastercard and Visa information can be taken over the phone ONLY.

I'm please to announce the EBT 35 ton triple hopper project is moving along on schedule. Here are a few shots of the pilot model that was recently shown at the East Coast large scale show in York PA.

These cars were built by the railroad and re-built over their life span as deemed necessary by the railroad. some cars received extensions to increase capacity from 35 to 40 tons. Some cars were dedicated to rock service but most of the fleet was dedicated to coal. Over the last several years card have been sold to various other Narrow gauge railroads including; White Pass and Yukon RR, Sumpter Valley RR, Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR,Durango and Silverton RR and a few others. Painted undecorated car will be available as well as trucks.
